MyStrands Social Player looks great in the N95. Definitely, we are approaching a wonderful age to be a music fan!

After the first partyStrands Bustamove party at the Manor in the meat packing district, partyStrands will be featured again at Element, a high profile and stunning venue in the nightlife hub of the Lower East Side.

This gloriously restored bi-level bank building’s modern decor and open dance floor is a great spot to showcase the new release of partyStrands!!! partyStrands looks better than ever and is easier to interact by text messaging or using the mobile portal m.mystrands.com. For Friday the 26th, visit m.mystrands.com/bam with your mobile internet browser. Both services, premium text messages and seamless mobile browser, allow partygoers to interact by joining the party, texting messages to the display, voting and sending photos for everyone to see.

As always, Bustamove parties are free and hassle-free! Just make sure you rsvp here. Once the venue reaches full capacity, people enter on a first come-first serve basis as space opens up, so it’s better to come early. We’re expecting about 500+ people so it should be a crazy, fun-filled night!

We’re really excited about working with Bust A Move again and to be at Element this Friday. You’ll see what a beautiful space it is and how our Bustamove djs, Master Sacchiand DJ Massi will get you grooving on the dance floor while partyStrands provide the interactive entertainment on the newly installed flat screen at Element.

Now with easy access from the taskbar, MyStrands allows you to get instant recommendations, create playlists on the fly, tag your music, connect with your friends and throw some great parties with partyStrands. MyStrands is available for Mac and PC and now supports Windows Media Player 11 and WinAmp.

It’s been a frenetic weekend in Midem (Cannes) for Francisco, including his discussion panel on the “Long Tail: is small the new big?”

Friday night’s party at the Manor hosted by BustamoveNYC in partnership with partyStrands was a great, crazy, hyped up night! The party was pumping by midnight and we still had people lined up trying to get in at 1am in the morning. People got up on the seats and danced away to the house djs that were bringing it up and the throngs of clubbers screamed in delight.

 

partyStrands definitely caught people’s attention as they walked in since pS was running on the top floor in front of the dj booth at the back of the venue and on a flat screen hidden behind a mirror on the lounge lower level. Partygoers who sent messages spontaneously were delighted with the cool effect of seeing their message on both floors.

This was the first time working with djs here in NY. The djs themselves noticed that people were interested and were talking about partyStrands so this is a good sign for the future events we do with more djs. Hey mister dj, if you’re interested we’re looking for you!

The parallel setup between manual partyStrands mode with live music spun by djs ran smoothly in the dj booth and was a great first try at this new partyStrands function. It was interesting to observe how many people constantly pulled out their phones throughout the evening. This age group was mostly 25 and up and full of young professionals.

m.MyStrands.com on your mobile browser is also here and some of our partygoers tried out this cool new feature. Yes, you can now go to this page to join, text and add artists from your handset. It’s easy to use and super fast.

So if you liked this party, stay tuned for the next Bustamove-partyStrands bash at Element NYC on Jan 26th. Once again it’s an open door policy but come early to avoid waiting and make sure you get in. They’ll stop letting people in when it’s at full capacity…rsvp here.

Back to work, school….and bust A move!

 

For the first time partyStrands will be featured in corroboration with Bust A Move, a NYC based party with a “no cover, come one come all policy” hosted at some of the hottest and to be seen NYC venues with house dj Master Sacchi and also for the evening dj Massi at the Manor a luxuriously “sexed up pied-à-terre for after dark enjoyment” here in NYC.

 

At this party of over 400 people, we will have partyStrands providing the interactive entertainment with pictures of the party, hostesses to help the excited crowd along to text message to partyStrands as well as thumping house music by our two European born-NY transplanted DJs. We will particularly highlight some of the DJ partyStrands functions by displaying the custom and improvised music of our djs pros. And of course some partyStrands t-shirt giveaways…c’mon you know you want it!
