partyStrands in Imperio Pop!

Excellent (!) beta-launch of the partyStrands concept in the Imperio Pop bar in Madrid.

Great location, 3 plasma screens, a wonderfull, exciting and smiling crowd… and there was partyStrands…

Check the pictures from that evening using partyStrands tag at Flickr.com. There is now a partyStrands Flickr Group to collect the images from different partyStrands parties taken by different people .

Here is also mobile phone video shooting of the partyStrands screen.

If you’re happen to enjoy one of the beta-parties, upload your pictures to the group and tag your pictures with “partystrands”, the “name of the bar” and the “name of the city” and it’ll be easy for anyone interested to follow what’s happening everywhere… who knows, partyStrands might do something with the best pictures later.

partyStrands will launch soon in more bars and more cities (current release is shared with some beta-testers around). If you signup at www.partystrands.com now, you might receive an invitation to test partyStrands. All you need is a pc + internet connection with iTunes connected to a monitor or a proyector+screen. Having a place or a bar (to serve some drinks!) and a good crowd helps to initiate a good party of course.

Anyway, I had great fun at the launch in Imperio Pop. partyStrands is a completely new, easy and exciting way to interact with the music in the bar. I can hardly wait to start playing with my MyStrands playlists

At the party’s peak-hour, the crowd managed to influence their favourite Spanish pop-rock songs upfront and sang them all along together! Might not be your cup of tea but just imagine that can happen in your favourite bar with your friends and your favourite music :-)

Stay tuned here for more news!
