Re-Discover MyStrands Discovery for Windows
The latest version of MyStrands Discovery for Windows is packed with new and updated features that you–our loyal MyStrands community members–requested. We’re excited about them, and think you will be too.
Check out these new features:
- iPod synch: include your iPod plays in your MyStrands.com music profile, and track your iPod play history online.
- Recommendation filters: Narrow the focus of the recommendations displayed in the MyStrands Discovery main window. Set filters for genre, decade, familiarity, and whether the recommended tracks are in your library or not.
- Mobile phone auto-fill: Click to fill your Windows Smart Phone, Symbian Series 60 (3rd edition) phone, USB drive, or other MP3 player, with music from your library. Choose music by tags, playlist, or your recent play history.
- Auto-start option: As requested by users, you can now choose whether MyStrands starts up when you start your music player.
- Direct “buy” links: Click the buy icon to go directly to a preferred site for purchasing music. You can set your preference in your account on MyStrands.com.
- Playlist builder update: Specifically set up seeds and filters to build the best playlists. We even recommend tracks that you don’t yet own, but that you might want to add to this playlist.
- Community window improvements: Sort your contacts into categories, and use the new interface to view member music and affinity to you.
