Our world-famous music recommendations are now even better. You can customize your recommendations to reflect the music you’ve been playing lately. You can even adjust the recommendations to give you only unusual or emerging music. You can even filter by genre or decade.

We’ve simplified our navigation to highlight those features you use most often. And we’ve combined features into sub-areas within each section. It’s easy to find exactly what you’re looking for.

Recommend Music to the Community
MusicStrands make it easy to recommend your favorite music to other members. You can quickly add social bookmarks to share your favorites, or you can post in your own Music Journal. You can even send recommendations directly to members and non-members alike with our “Share with a Friend” feature.

New Music Charts
MusicStrands tracks the favorite music of our members, and of the community as a whole. Our new Music Charts let you easily see the most often played music from any member, from the community, and from your own library.

Discover Members
The fun way to discover music is from other members. MusicStrands makes it easy to find other members based on your shared tastes. Find similar members, check out their individual music charts, and sample the songs they’re playing.

Favorite People & Favorite Music
When you find great songs, artists or members, share them with the community with a single click.

Influences: “Influencers” is the name MusicStrands gives to members with great taste - musical tastes just like your own. When you add a member as a Favorite, mark them as an “influence” and automatically subscribe to their music and comments.

Discoveries: Music Discoveries are social bookmarks shared with the entire community. When you add an artist, album or song as a Favorite, mark it as a “Discovery.” Once added, all members can see and hear the music.

Music Groups
With Music Groups you can share your thoughts and tastes with friends, family, and like-minded people all over the world. Have you found a great new Blues artist? Share the music with the entire group by posting comments, links, even photos, songs and videos. Groups are a great way to share your favorite music with friends and fellow music fans.
